We want your introductory flight to be one of the most fun and rewarding events of a lifetime. In order for us to properly set up our equipment and flying location, we will need some basic information regarding the individual taking the flight.
Please check one of the following introductory flight packages: (package description below)
Package 1: $60
Your Introductory Flight will begin with short discussion relating to the powered parachute pre-flight procedures, followed by our required safety procedures. You will then strap into the PPC (powered parachute) and enjoy a 30 minute flight with me, your instructor. During the flight, we will discuss all aspects of flying the PPC, and the rules that regulate them. Radios and Headsets are provided for our communication while in the air. Camera's are allowed, if they include a wrist strap, or other method of hanging on to. We will be flying along the beach down near Galveston Texas.
Package 2: $110
Your Introductory Flight will begin with short discussion relating to the powered parachute pre-flight procedures, followed by our required safety procedures. You will then strap into the PPC (powered parachute) and enjoy a 60 minute flight with me, your instructor. During the flight, we will discuss all aspects of flying the PPC, and the rules that regulate them. Radios and Headsets are provided for our communication while in the air. Camera's are allowed, if they include a wrist strap, or other method of hanging on to. We will land and take off from the beach near Galveston Texas, and do some cross country flying in the area. You will also have the opportunity to fly the PPC (with my help of course) from the back seat. This will give the student an excellent opportunity to "feel" what it takes to fly a powered parachute.
Package 3: $450 (complete solo flight training and ground school course)
This package includes the full 3 day solo course and ground school. You will receive all the required training per the FAA for you to solo a powered parachute. Your Student Workbook, and 250 page Flight Training Manual will also be provided. You will be given a Student Pilot Certificate from ASC, and fly under my supervision and licence exemption until ready for your Practical Test Flight with an Advanced Flight Instructor. NOTE: This package can be split up depending on your schedule and of course the weather down on the beach.
