Well all good things must come to an end at some point! My pride and joy Neon Green 912 was sold to a real nice fellow and upcoming pilot extrodinair, in Lake Charles Louisiana last weekend. You can expect to see him very soon in the skies near Jennings. Prices have continued to climb at Rotax, and slightly at Infinity due to Sport Pilot Certifications required on planes and parachutes. However, all aircraft engines have increased in price over the past 6 to 8 months. An example would be a Rotax 912S has increased from something near $16,000 to almost $21,000 in 6 months. If your thinking of that new purchase, dont wait, as prices continue to climb.

Weather is always an important factor in safe and fun flying. If winds exceed 12 to 13 MPH it will normally be a bumpy ride, and I don't like to fly. Therefore when you hit the white button below, you can put in a zip code of a particular flying location to determine what the winds will be.
Zip Codes of Flying Locations
Galveston Texas ............. 77550
Hempstead Texas.............75948
Wharton Texas ..............77488
And of coarse dont forget your flight training course is included with the purchase of your new Infinity. We can take the "flying course" to your favorate flying location.
In four simple steps, you can be flying the Infinity Powered Parachute. After a good preflight of your plane and parachute, you simply lay the parachute out behind the plane. The parachute once inflated, will become your "wing" of the aircraft.
As you increase the throttle or "give it more gas", the plane slowly moves forward causing the parachute to inflate into the "wing". Your plane is moving very slowly while allowing your parachute to inflate properly.
As your wing is now forming overhead, you visually check for any problems with your chute lines. Once your parachute is properly overhead, you increase the throttle (gas) and the plane gently lifts off.
Once safely above all obstructions such as power lines or trees, you will gently reduce the throttle until you stop ascending. This will allow you to fly neither ascending or descending. When you are ready to land simply reduce the throttle for a slow decent until touchdown.
Steering your powered parachute is accomplished by pushing on the left or the right steering bars with your feet, as shown here. Pushing forward with your left foot will create drag on the left rear corner of your wing and turn the plane to the left.
Now it's time for you and your passenger (Big Chit Turner) to sit back and enjoy the view.
Here is a landing with the engine "turned off". Yes, the parachute and plane are designed to land you safely with or without the engine running.
The pictures below represent the take off and landing sequence of the Powered Parachute.
If things go well, I should pick up my new Infinity 912S within a couple of weeks. Imagine, my dream plane was in stock and waiting for me at Infinity. Of course it's loaded with options, down to the matching color of the plane and the valve covers from the standard Rotax green for 100hp model.
The website is also being revamped, with lots of new stuff from Sport Pilot, and Infinity Powered Parachutes. Mr. Alvie Wall owner of Infinity has been very busy obtaining S-LSA Certifications. I might add, the first PPC to accomplish this in the USA.
